When Katlyn contacted me to plan her engagement shoot she was hoping for a winter wonderland session- due to my upcoming maternity leave in the end of November, we were on a bit of a time crunch to get her and Ryan’s photos done before baby #2 comes! We planned our shoot for the beginning of November- hoping for a Minnesota miracle of snow (perhaps the only time I’ve ever actually wished for snow!!) and unfortunately we didn’t get the snow by the time the shoot came; but luckily we planned the session at Hansen Tree Farm because despite a time when most of the state vegetation is looking brown, dead and down-right unattractive- most Christmas Tree Farms in the state still possess a romantic, natural and cozy/festive atmosphere!
These two just radiate happiness and their little fur babies were a wonderful addition to the shoot!

Kelsey and Stephen’s wedding at Creeksbend Golf Course in New Prague was a beautiful mixture of American/Hmong cultures! The couple had a traditional Hmong ceremony, afterwards the Groom serenaded his bride with an Ed Sheeran and had us all in tears!! We also had one of the most beautiful fall sunsets for photos! Cheers to the happy couple!
